I might be wrong, but I don't think we get paid extra for comments anymore. Each read will pay roughly between 2-4 cents.

That's why some of the older writers who get a ton of reads but only a few comments said they didn't notice much of a difference because that's how much someone was usually paid before they "tweaked" the earnings in January.

Making this change will help combat all of the engagement rings and AI writing, but it also screws over all of the legit writers in the process.
