1) Diet Specialization
Anteaters mainly eat ants and termites, using their elongated snouts to vacuum up these insects. One anteater can consume up to 35,000 ants and termites in a single day.
2) Various Sizes
Anteaters range from small to large, with the Silky Anteater being the smallest and the Giant Anteater being the largest. The former can weigh as little as 0.7 pounds, while the latter can tip the scales at 140 pounds.
