All great points. Reading is especially important because someone can highlight, clap, and leave a comment but it won’t go towards your earnings if they don’t read or at least hang around for 30 seconds.

I’m not sure how the different types of engagement are weighted, but I do know that leaving a comment can earn you much more than someone only reading and clapping.

On the other hand, none of that probably matters too much with my account because I’m active on here, and the value of my engagement is much lower than someone who doesn’t read a lot.

So, you probably only made two cents from me but hopefully my engagement will help your article with the algorithm and you will reach more people. 🙂
