Bigfoot goes by many names. You might know him by Sasquatch, Skunk Ape, or Yeti. The legend of Bigfoot dates back centuries, and Native Americans have many stories of this elusive creature.

A lot of Bigfoot stories originate in the Pacific Northwest, but “sightings” have been reported across the country. Maybe it’s a creature of our prehistoric past, overactive imaginations, or even drug-fueled hallucinations.

What Does Bigfoot Look Like?

We might have the best smartphones around, but Bigfoot is an expert at making images blurry.

Descriptions tend to vary, but most eyewitnesses tend to agree he or she looks like a large and hairy ape-like creature walking on two legs. Huge footprints have also been found, but are they real or fake?

A Cultural Phenomenon

Bigfoot is one of the most well-known cryptids. All you have to do is check out your favorite streaming app, and you can probably find a list of shows looking for this elusive creature.

Spoiler alert — they have yet to find him in the woods. But hey, no one said it would be easy to find the reigning hide-and-seek champion in the world. Legends aren’t that easy to discover…
