Do you pay on a monthly basis or yearly? Before the earnings dropped, I know I was paying out one to two cents while reading and leaving comments, even though I was a Friend of Medium because it's based on your activity level.

So, if someone is a really active reader, your read won't be worth much. Now, I don't know how they calculate things since they "tweaked" everything because it seems like every read is worth a few cents, no matter who is reading your articles.

I don't see the point in being a Friend of Medium anymore. No one really knows where the money is going and I have no desire to support arrogant assholes that run this place.
