Earnings aren't much different than normal in my experience. They did go lower than normal in July, but it's not like that anymore.

It's true that earnings were cut for some writers last August after they switched the payment system. Now writers need to also focus on engagement if they want to keep earning on Medium.

Most of the popular writers never replied back to comments, so maybe they shouldn't had been so arrogant or they would still be making money.
