Fall is nearly here, and it’s the perfect time to prepare your yard for the cooler temperatures and changing leaves. The fall season is my favorite time of the year because it’s football season, and it’s nice to get a break from 100-degree temperatures in Texas. Looking at ways to prepare your yard for the fall season is a great way to stay proactive while keeping your property in excellent shape.

Here are a few simple tips on how to prepare your yard for autumn.

Clean Up Debris

One of the first steps is to gather branches, fallen leaves, and any other debris from your yard. It might be tempting to leave the leaves scattered on the ground, but this can actually harm your grass. Fortunately, you can easily repurpose these leaves as mulch or compost, turning potential waste into a valuable resource for your garden or flower beds.

Prune Bushes and Trees
