How to Reach More People on Medium (My Experience)
A few tips on how to increase your outreach on Medium
Medium is a great platform for writing, but it’s not always easy to find an audience. Dealing with a lack of views is especially common if you are new. Writing several articles without getting much engagement is a deflating experience, and it’s easy to give up too soon.
I’m not an expert on Medium by any means. I started writing on Medium back in 2020, but I eventually stopped writing due to other commitments. Spending time writing an article and only making a dollar or two is never fun, no matter “how much you love to write or want to help others.” 😏
Here are some tips I’ve learned over the years to help you reach a wider audience on Medium.
Create Quality Content
Writing several articles a day on Medium isn’t sustainable if you are focusing on quality. You might hit a few home runs, but you will most likely strike out and miss more often than not.
Taking the extra time to focus on quality will help you get more reads and it also builds your reputation.
