I wouldn't go as far to say someone as a hater unless they are being rude.

We can all disagree about different topics, and it's not really a big deal. I did have my first "hater" yesterday.

The person doesn't really know how Medium works and I couldn't explain anything to them.

Eventually, they started to insult me because they couldn't understand that the people in my publication are all paying members.

Oh well. One hater in nine months isn't too bad.
