In the old games, they didn't use the names of the players but they used their numbers and they were rated similar to how they played in real life. They also had the same height and weight of real life players.

The players didn't get paid for anything and one of the ex players sued EA Sports and they had to stop making it.

Now, college players can get paid and every player in the game gets a free copy and $600.
