It wasn't too bad a few months ago, but it's mostly due to all of the new writers. Very few are legit.

These articles also don't use the same AI that was easy to spot a while back. However, some use the same tone and it's easy to spot if you have experience, but most people will think it's legit because it sounds like it's coming from a human.

Just go look at my guidelines page for Never Stop Writing. Tons of comments in the past couple of months and it's mostly AI writers. I used to hide the comments but now I don't even bother because it's too much work. I rather spend time writing and genuinely supporting real writers instead of trying to do Medium's job for free.
