Most articles have a lifespan of less than 24 hours. Even if one becomes popular, it will eventually die down after a few days.

I know Medium has said it’s good to focus more on quality instead of quantity but that is not how the algorithm works at all.

It still heavily favors publishing at least once or twice a day.
