That's interesting. Reads used to give out more than $1 if it was a brand new FOM account who read your story. Nowadays, it seems like everything is around 3 to 4 cents per read, but I'm not sure how the boost multiplier works.

Did you notice this change on March 1st? The only reason I ask is because it seems like earnings are delayed throughout the month and then we get a little extra on the first.
