Yes, the stats are updated hourly, but they stop at 8 PM EST because that's considered the "end of the day" for Medium, and that's when they calculate the daily earnings.

The stats are still getting updated during this time, but we don't have access to them.

Usually, the earnings will appear around 2-3 AM EST, and then the stats will start showing up again an hour or so later. These stats will also include any of the activity that happened in the past 6-7 hours.
